HandyTech, LLC (“HandyTECH”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, where it comes from, how we use it, the limited circumstances in which we share it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise privacy rights.
Our privacy-first commitment
We do not run third-party advertising, track you across other websites, use analytics or behavioral-profiling cookies, sell personal information, or use personal information for targeted advertising or profiling. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required choices before using data in that way.

Sensitive and regulated information
Public website forms are not designed for sensitive or regulated information. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, protected health information, financial account data, or confidential client files through public forms. If a service engagement may involve regulated data, credentials, device contents, backups, or client systems, we will use an appropriate written agreement, authorization, and secure handling process.
How we use personal information
- To respond to inquiries and provide services you request
- To manage accounts, authentication, appointments, training, and billing
- To document legal assent, privacy requests, and service authorizations
- To secure our site, prevent fraud or abuse, and troubleshoot issues
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations
We use contact information for transactional replies and scheduling. We do not use phone numbers for promotional calls or texts unless we collect separate, explicit consent. Promotional email, if used, will include required sender information and an unsubscribe mechanism.
Service providers and third parties
We share personal information only as needed with service providers and third parties that help us operate the site and provide services. These may include hosting and database providers, authentication/session systems, transactional email providers, payment processors, security and logging tools, professional advisors, and subcontractors engaged for a specific service. We do not share personal information with third-party advertisers.
Payments and PCI scope
When online payments are enabled, card details are processed by Stripe through a hosted or isolated payment flow. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers on our servers, and you should never send card details through contact forms, support tickets, email, or chat. We retain payment records such as invoice status, transaction references, and receipts for billing and accounting.
Data retention
- Contact and appointment submissions: kept as long as needed to respond, provide service, and maintain business records.
- Account records: kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, audit, and legal purposes.
- Service, billing, training, and contract records: kept for the service relationship and applicable tax, accounting, warranty, dispute, and legal periods.
- Security logs and consent records: kept for a limited period appropriate to security, fraud prevention, and compliance needs.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or archive it according to our retention practices and legal obligations.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, password hashing for account credentials, least-privilege practices, and operational security review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to security incidents.
Your privacy rights and request process
Depending on where you live and whether a specific law applies to us, you may have rights to access, confirm processing, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about a request. If applicable law provides rights to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, our current practices do not involve those activities.
Submit requests by emailing privacy@handy-t.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 45 days unless a shorter or longer period is required or permitted by applicable law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing the privacy address with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
State privacy laws
We are based in Virginia and serve customers in multiple locations. State privacy laws such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act and California CCPA/CPRA apply only if their legal thresholds and scope requirements are met. This policy is intended to provide transparent baseline disclosures and should not be read as a statement that every state privacy law applies to every interaction. If our operations cross an applicable threshold, we will provide any required state-specific notices, appeal procedures, and opt-out mechanisms.
Children’s privacy
Our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Account users under 18 must have parent or guardian permission.
International users
We operate from the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
